Covering GIS basics, QGIS specifically for ecologists, field data collection and Biodiversity Net Gain, all of my courses are instructor-led, interactive, and provide you a ton of useful resources to take away
Digital mapping, data creation & QA
Let’s be real, you’re very busy. So I’m here to support you with your digital mapping for your ecological surveys that are report-ready and in your own branding. I can also QA your BNG data so you can be confident when you're submitting your application.
Bespoke & tailored training courses
Sometimes you need something a bit more specific. Take modules from the ‘off the shelf’ courses and merge them together. Add in bespoke modules if you like and I’ll tailor the whole thing to your organisation’s specific skill gaps.
The Ecologists’ Data Collection Toolkit
Customised and easy to use QGIS templates with pre-loaded data layers, map layouts, and reporting outputs. Take the stress out of data collection with up to 5 toolkits.
“Knowing Claire would improve our systems and also be the person we speak to when we need support is why we worked with a small business like Maptastic. Working with her has been a really good long-term investment for us.”
Brooke Waites, Director & Principal Ecologist at Tom Haley Ecology Ltd
